Job Description

  • To provide first and second-line workstation support to the users (hardware and software) and systems
  • Set up and troubleshoot user accounts and software accounts. 
  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot network connectivity and wireless access for local and remote computers or devices. 
  • Install, update, and repair software on organization systems. 
  • Install and update desktops, laptops, peripherals, networks, and related software.
  • Respond to requests for new or configured hardware or software and keep inventory up to date. 
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, logging problems and documenting fixes. 
  • To manage all user calls logged and ensure SLA is met (for solution)
  • To do roaming technical support
  • Manage/ conduct projects allocated 
  • To ensure customer satisfaction
  • Printer Support
  • Networking configuration as well as advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and ability to resolve complex networking issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of LANs and WANs
  • Demonstrated experience in firewall configuration and troubleshooting
  • Ability to setup and maintain AV and Backup Solutions
  • Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly checks on system performance
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and control data centre
  • Submission of Monthly reports
  • Maintain neat and tidy workspace, and storeroom
  • Maintain, control and support of system inventory (Software and Hardware) assets and updated assets and inventory lists
  • Maintenance of a system test facility
  • Ensure compliance with schedules and requirements
  • Ensure uptime for related servers and workstations
  • Extensive of icloud and Apple hardware

Educational Background

  • Grade 12
  • IT Diploma
  • IT degree (advantageous)
  • At least 5 years’ experience
  • MCSE (REQUIRED)
  • A+, N+, C++
  • A resilient individual with excellent interpersonal and clear communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
